Fun Ways to Celebrate Easter in the Classroom
Easter Egg Crafts
There are so many fun crafts to do this time of year! These ideas incorporate watercolor paints, tissue paper, plates, scrapbook paper, and other materials. Add these spring crafts for kids to the classroom for lots of smiles and fun.
Decorating Easter Eggs
If you can, hard-boil a bunch of eggs and let kids decorate them in the classroom. All you need are some white crayons and watercolor paints. Have the kids draw designs and patterns on the eggshells. Then, use the watercolors to paint the eggs, and the designs will appear!
Have an Easter Egg Hunt
Using plastic eggs, hide little treasures around the classroom or playground. Recruit parent volunteers to help if needed. Invite kids to bring Easter baskets or provide brown paper bags to collect as many eggs as possible!
Egg Drop Experiment
Encourage kids to use their brains to think of the softest and safest ways for an egg to drop to the ground without breaking. They might use classroom pillows, create a ramp for it to roll down, craft a parachute, and do anything else they can think of.
Easter Books
Add these fun titles to your Easter lesson plans this year. Kids will enjoy the silly stories, and you can use them with art projects and academic skills.
