Social-Emotional Learning

Social-emotional learning (SEL) gives kids the skills they need to interact with their peers, solve conflicts, identify and deal with strong emotions, and develop character. Because teaching social skills is just as important as teaching reading or math, character education should be a priority for teachers in any grade. When teaching social and emotional development, using the right ideas, curriculum, and resources can make a big difference. At Proud to be Primary, you will find all of these things and more!

Help kids flourish and grow socially and emotionally.

The Mindful Hearts Classroom Club is an exclusive monthly social-emotional learning membership site for primary teachers. The club supports teachers as they integrate SEL into the classroom each day, through valuable ideas, useful lessons, practical strategies, and supportive community. It guides teachers to make the most impact while taking away the stress and overwhelm that managing a classroom can bring. Children are empowered to act in positive ways and apply social-emotional skills through student-centered approaches.
