In reply to Michelle. Hi Michelle. I personally have always used it as we count the days in order. It makes more sense for younger kids building their number sense to see things sequentially build like that. But off course, you could totally mix it up, which would be a fun strategy! Elyse

HI! I love all of this and look forward to using it with my first graders. Would it be appropriate to use the number of the day as we count each day of school or should I make the numbers more random? I just thought maybe using the same number would be an easy way to incorporate it. Give me your thoughts please!
